Things You Need to Know

At Eco Branding, we want to give our customers the safest and most enjoyable shopping experience. Once which we hope will keep them coming back to our store time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. Client Policy

We do not work with or associate our brand with greenwashing activities and propoganda. We do not work in alliance with any brands who's core business is one of extraction or exploitation of natural resources or people. We work solely with companies who want to change their business model and focus on real green solutions instead of continuing with the old destructive methods of consumption and production.

Payment Terms 

Terms: 50% upfront, balance upon completion 

Only final artwork will be provided. No open files (added fee if client desires open files)- Final open files incur an additional charge. Marketing for social media is not included in this fee. Late fees incur 5% interest for every week late. Once research, resources allocated or design work has commenced on a project, this deposit is non-refundable. In the case of a change of mind by “The Client” this deposit is non-refundable. Designerd / Eco Branding endeavors to provide design services that meet and exceed a client’s needs and expectations, but in the event of a “change of mind” (after a project has commenced) by “The Client”, the initial deposit is forfeited, plus a pro-rata payment based upon the time spent. Shipping Policy

Processing Time:

 

We do our best to process & ship all orders as soon as possible. Most orders are processed within 24-48 hours. Design & Production time will vary depending on customisation required and availability of stock. 

 

Tracking your order:

All orders include tracking information is normally sent via email within 48 hours after the order has been shipped.  You can also track your order using your tracking number 

 

Courier:

As per local and regional courier fees depending on final weight of package. 

 

Customs & Duties:

Courier outside of Johannesburg, South Africa will incur additional fees

 

All shipping charges (or free shipping promos) listed do NOT include customs, duty, and taxes. We can't be held responsible for that. Recipient is responsible for all customs, clearing and other fee’s required to ship internationally.  

We can only ship to countries we are legally allowed to accept payments from. 

 

Lost / Stolen package:

  • Customers satisfaction is our top priority so we cover any case of exceptional delay or even loss in transit and offer a free reshipment or a refund.

  • If the order does not make it to its destination and is delayed in a local post office, customers are responsible for contacting the carrier before receiving a reshipment\refund.

  • If you have entered incorrect shipping information, you are not eligible for a reshipment or a refund.

Returns / Recycling Policy

We do not accept returns for work which you've previously approved or signed off. You are welcome to return any work which you aren't happy with, and we'll gladly recycle the material. Any old marketing collateral you have from the past you are welcome to also send to us for recycling and we'll add total recycling as discount toward future print work. 

What Personal Data We Collect And Why We Collect It

Comments:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to an avatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

When you visit our Website(s) and/or User System or send emails to us, you can subscribe to our newsletters or to  receive communications from us or any of our divisions, affiliates or partners electronically in accordance with our privacy policy.

Consent can be revoked at any time by providing us with written notice, and  The “unsubscribe” feature on our communication can be used.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your data. 

We accept payments through various Financial institutions, all services we’d connect are compliant. We also accept payment through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

 

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How We Protect Your Data

We have multiple layers of protection from hardware, software and hosting. 

  • We believe that prevention is better than cure. 

    • We ensure that the site is always updated using the latest version

    • The site is always using the latest versions of plugins.

    • Deactivating and removing unneeded plugins or themes.

    • Making regular, secure backups of our website data

    • Exporting and archiving completed orders or donations to secure storage. 

    • We require strong, unique passwords on all accounts.

    • We have limited the number of people with access to Admin

    • We ensure each employee has a separate login. We don’t share accounts

    • We remove accounts immediately when any contractor/employee leaves the company

 

What Data Breach Procedures We Have In Place

Data breach process

  • Changing all passwords.

  • Creating a fresh backup.

  • Identifying the hack and removing their code and means of access. 

  • Contacting any supervisory authority required, especially in SA

  • Contacting impacted customers. 

  • Looking at preventative measures that will prevent the hack from happening again, and taking action.
